Alkaline zinc-manganese reserve battery is a new type of battery which uses zinc as its cathode, manganese dioxide as its anode and alkaline solution as electrolyte. The active material and electrolyte of this kind of battery are separated from each other, so that pole pieces of the battery are sealed in dry-charged state. In case of use, the battery is activated and is able to discharge when electrolyte is added into it. Alkaline zinc-manganese reserve battery has no electric output and self-discharge during the storage, so that it can provide enough energy when it is activated after a long time of storage.

Alkaline zinc-manganese secondary battery is a new kind of battery which is based on and developed from alkaline primary battery such as Nanfu, GP. It can supply strong power as alkaline primary battery, and can also be recharged as regular storage battery. So this product’s energy-saving characteristic fully coincides with the nation’s policy of constructing environment-friendly and resource-saving society.
In cathode alkaline zinc-manganese secondary battery uses metal zinc as its active material, copper as its current collector; in anode, the active material is manganese dioxide, and current collector is stainless steel. The electrolyte is a solution including KOH. The separator is a composite-material membrane.
